Deeper Roots Health is a primary care clinic in Lakin, Kansas, caring for patients of all ages, including pregnant women. We use a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. That means you join with a simple monthly membership. In return, you get personal, accessible care at an affordable price.

With us, you’ll see more care with less hassle. Office visits are longer, wait times are shorter, and it’s easy to reach your doctor. Our pricing is clear with no surprise bills, and no co-pays for members. We do not bill insurance for services rendered at our clinic.

We believe great care is built on kindness, integrity, and excellence. We also understand that we are all different, and quality healthcare should be individualized to our members. We take time to listen, explain, and plan with you. Our goal is to restore a true doctor–patient relationship and help you stay healthy with a teamwork, whole-person care approach.

There are no hoops to jump through and no rushed visits here. You’ll get a physician that knows you and cares about you, quality time with your doctor, and affordable, honest pricing—so you can focus on your health, not the system. We also understand that this style of healthcare is not for everyone, but the care you are receiving elsewhere may not be for you either.

Before You Join

Great care starts with a strong doctor–patient relationship and open, honest communication. Our model may not fit everyone.

• We do not prescribe chronic opioids/narcotics for long-term pain control.

• We do not prescribe weight-loss medicines unless there is a clear medical indications.

• We focus first on lifestyle, education, and practical steps before using medications.

How Initial Scheduling Works

When you join, we book a long first visit so we can listen, learn your story, and make a plan together.

Established members usually get same-day or next-day appointments for urgent needs. To protect that access:

• New members may wait several days (or more than a week) for the first appointment.

• We can’t always enroll acutely ill new patients immediately.

This approach helps us keep visits unhurried and responsive for everyone.
